Sales autopilot asks about your company and your customers, then builds a follow-up plan with ready messages from your answers. Once it is on, every new lead gets those messages in order, by WhatsApp or email, until they reply.
Before you start
- You need to be an admin or have permission to manage sales automation.
- To send by WhatsApp, your company's WhatsApp number must be linked to Upcycle (available from the Starter plan up). With no number linked, messages go by email only.
Steps
- Open Sales from the side menu.
- In the Sales menu, open the Engagement and automation group and click Sales autopilot.
- Have a website? Paste its address and click Read my website to get draft answers. Or click I will answer myself.
- Answer the seven questions, clicking Next after each one: what you sell, who your ideal customer is, their problems, why they choose you, the results you deliver, the next step you want from them, and how the messages should sound.
- Click Build my sales plan and wait for the plan. It can take up to a minute.
- Check the Follow-up messages and edit any wording you do not like. Then click Save changes.
- Check the Settings: sending hours, messages per day, and I approve every message before it goes out.
- Click Switch on.
- Watch the Waiting for your approval list: click Approve on a message that is right, Do not send to cancel it, or Approve all.
Good to know
- Approving every message is on at the start. Keep it on until you trust the wording.
- By default, messages go out from 10:00 to 19:00, not on Friday or Saturday, with at most 30 WhatsApp messages and 50 emails a day. You can change all of this.
- Follow-up stops by itself when the lead replies or someone on your team contacts them.
- Only leads that arrive after you switch it on are followed up. Switch off Only leads that arrive after it is switched on to include open leads from the last 30 days.
- Reword each message for the lead counts toward your plan's AI allowance.
