The report takes the numbers from the Ads & performance page and presents them for the client, with your company's logo and colours and your own commentary on top.
Before you start
- The project must be linked to a client.
- You need permission to edit the project.
- For the scheduled email, add contacts with an email address to the client, or type the addresses yourself.
Steps
- Open the client's project and choose Ads & performance from the project menu.
- Choose the period at the top of the page. The report covers that period.
- Open the Reports tab.
- Under Account manager commentary, write what happened and what comes next. Press AI draft if you want a first version to edit, then press Save commentary.
- Under Export and share, press Preview PDF to see exactly what the client will get.
- Choose how to deliver it:
- Download PDF to send the file yourself.
- Publish to portal to place the report in the client's portal, under their documents and reports.
- Create link, then Copy, to send a read-only link that opens without a login.
- Schedule email to send the PDF automatically. Choose Weekly (last 7 days) or Monthly (previous month), the day, the time and the recipients.
- For a scheduled email, press Send me a copy to check it before the client receives the first one.
Good to know
- The commentary opens the report. The client reads it before any number, so say plainly what changed and why.
- The report shows results against targets, by platform, the top campaigns and ads, and the leads and return from your own deals.
- The client link always shows the latest numbers for its period. Press Revoke link to close it for everyone who has it, or New link to replace it.
- The AI draft uses your plan's monthly AI allowance. Read it and correct it before saving; it only knows the numbers on the page.
- The changes you record in the Optimisation tab appear in the report, so the client sees what was done on their account.
- A paused schedule sends nothing. Open it and turn Active back on to resume.
