Development Agency 360 is the version of Upcycle for software houses, design studios and support teams. You choose it during setup and say what kind of software work you do. Upcycle then prepares the matching sales pipelines and screens.
Steps
- During setup, choose Development Agency 360 on the industry step.
- Under "What kind of software work do you do?", pick every one that applies, then continue:
- Custom software house: fixed-price projects with milestones and client sign-off.
- UI/UX design studio: design work reviewed by the client screen by screen.
- Web & mobile app agency: backlog, sprints and releases.
- Maintenance & managed services: support contracts, tickets and service targets.
- Staff augmentation & dedicated teams: your people placed with clients and billed by the hour.
- Open Dev hub from the side menu. It starts on Overview, with open tickets, unbilled hours and upcoming releases.
- Add your clients and projects as usual from Clients and Projects. The Dev hub screens work on top of those projects.
Good to know
- Repositories: link a GitHub repository to a project by pasting its address.
- Releases: create a release for a project, link the tasks it ships, and write the release notes.
- SLA: set response and resolution targets for support tickets and see which tickets passed them.
- Credentials vault: keep client logins in one protected place. It needs the Starter plan or higher.
- Integrations needs the Professional plan and shows for medium and larger workspaces.
- Bill logged time on the overview creates draft invoices from the hours your team logged and has not billed yet.
- To add or remove a type of work later, open Business models in the Dev hub menu. You can pick more than one.
- The usual areas stay available: Projects, Tasks, Clients, Sales, Marketing, Accounting and Human resources, according to your plan.
- See the plans page for what each plan includes.
