If your company runs mall booths, roadshows, sampling, launch events or exhibition stands, turn on the Activations & events company type. An Activations item appears in the side menu, with its own sales pipeline, project templates and services.
Steps
- During setup pick Marketing Agency 360, then pick Activations & events company in the company type question. For an existing workspace: Settings, then Company type, then Change.
- Create a project per client from the Mall or booth activation, Roadshow or field sampling, Product launch event or Exhibition stand template. Each template starts with its tasks.
- Inside the project open Activations & events and add the activation: venue, days and targets (footfall, samples, leads). You can start with the usual cost lines.
- In Costing & budget enter your cost and the client price per line, compare supplier quotes, upload the designs and send them with the quote for client approval, then issue the advance invoice.
- Prepare materials from stock and staff and shifts. On the event day follow the run sheet and log attendance, counts and photos from the field.
- After the event write the post-event report and share it with the client in the portal, then issue the balance invoice.
Good to know
- The Activations item shows every client in one place: upcoming events, what waits for client approval, shifts short of staff, reports due and the margin per activation and per client. It also holds the Stock, Field staff and Suppliers pages.
- Staff cost comes from attendance, and field expenses count once approved.
- Money figures show only to people who may see the project's financials, and the client report never shows costs.
- The type adds the Activation manager, Production manager, Field supervisor, Staffing coordinator and Activation accountant roles, an Activation or event proposal template and an event contract with payment milestones.
- You can turn on several types together. Turning one off only hides it; no data is deleted.
