Set up the client's social media plan

The plan is the reference for everyone who writes or reviews content for this client. The AI writer and the AI month plan also start from it.

Before you start

  • You need permission to edit the project.
  • The project should be linked to its client.

Steps

  1. Open Projects from the side menu and choose the client's project.
  2. In the project menu, under Marketing delivery, open Social media.
  3. Open More, then Plan & strategy.
  4. In Client brief press Edit brief. Fill in Social goals (one goal per line), Target audience, Tone of voice, Key messages, Do and Don't, then press Save.
  5. In Content pillars press Edit pillars. Give each pillar a name, a target percentage and a colour. Press Add pillar if you need more, then Save.
  6. In Monthly retainer press Edit retainer. Enter how many posts, carousels, reels and stories you deliver each month.
  7. In the same window, set the Approval workflow: turn Internal review before the client and Client approval in the portal on or off, and set the Client response window (days).
  8. Press Save.

Good to know

  • If the project already has goals or an audience in its charter or client profile, they appear here with a small label showing where they came from. You do not need to retype them.
  • The pillar card compares your target mix with what was actually published in the last 30 days.
  • The monthly deliverables feed the Overview card that compares delivered with agreed, and they decide how many posts the AI month plan proposes.
  • Both approval steps are on for a new project. With both off, a post you submit is approved straight away.
  • Lower on the same page you can save Hashtag sets and Caption templates & saved replies. Hashtag sets and caption templates appear in the post window. Saved replies appear in the inbox.
  • Campaigns on this page let you group posts so you can follow them together.
