Upcycle has many tools, and a small team does not need all of them. The workspace size decides how much of each module your team sees: small, medium or full. It is set from your answers at sign-up, and you can change it at any time.
Before you start
- Only the workspace owner or an admin can change the size.
Steps
- Open Settings from the side menu, then Agency size.
- Under Workspace default size, choose Small, Medium or Full. Small is for 1 to 10 people and shows the daily essentials. Medium is for 10 to 50 people and adds teams and processes. Full shows every tool.
- To give one module a different size, go to Size each module and choose a size for it. Leave the others on Default.
- Open What is hidden? under a module to see the pages that the chosen size hides.
- Press Save size.
Good to know
- Nothing is deleted. Hidden pages and their data come back as soon as you choose a larger size.
- Role permissions stay as they are. Size only decides which pages appear.
- The largest size you can choose depends on your plan: small on the free plan, up to medium on Starter, and full on Professional and Enterprise. A size above your plan is marked as not available, with an Upgrade plan button.
- If someone opens a page that the current size hides, they land on the module's home page with a short note. An admin sees a link to change the size.
- When your team is small and the workspace is on a larger size, Upcycle may suggest switching once. You can switch or keep the current size.
- This is different from the short menu of the first days. That one ends by itself; the workspace size stays until you change it.
