Every plan comes with a monthly AI allowance, counted in tokens. A token is a small piece of text, and every question and answer uses some. The allowance is shared by the whole company and starts again each month.
Before you start
- Only an admin can open the AI settings page. Other users see a message from the assistant when the allowance is finished.
Steps
- Open Settings from the side menu.
- In the Integrations and AI group, choose AI settings.
- Look at the Usage this month card. It shows the tokens used so far out of your monthly allowance, with a bar that fills as you use it.
- Under it, Purchased credit shows any extra tokens you bought.
- To add more, go to Buy AI credit, pick a pack and click Buy. You are taken to checkout, and the tokens are added once the payment is confirmed.
- Check Purchase history to see what you bought and what remains of each pack.
Good to know
- Purchased credit is used only after the monthly allowance is finished. It does not reset each month and it does not expire.
- During the free trial the allowance is smaller than on a paid plan. The size of each plan's allowance is on the plans page.
- When the allowance and the credit are both finished, AI features stop until the next month. The assistant shows the usage and buttons to Buy credit or Upgrade plan.
- Your company can connect its own AI provider in the AI provider section of the same page. Usage on your own key is not counted against the plan allowance, and you pay that provider directly.
- If no packs are listed under Buy AI credit, contact support.
- Long documents, attached files and website audits use more tokens than short questions.
